Horse Lamp

For Christmas my grandparents got me a lamp for my piano (my old one was pretty ugly). I love the horses on it!

This is a great Christmas CD to listen to to get into the Christmas mood. It includes many of the popular songs included in the well-known Charlie Brown cartoons. I have been listening to it so much that I almost have it memorized! Jazz is usually not my thing, but love how it sounds on a piano!

My name is Kylie. I am 17 years old and was home schooled for 12+ years along with my older brother, Jacob. I am now attending Lancaster Bible College where I am pursuing a degree in children and family ministries. My favorite animal from God's imagination is the horse (think about it for a second; who would have thought of such thing?). My choice mode of relaxation is playing the piano and (if I'm feeling ambitious) the violin.

This past year the Lord has been drawing me closer to Himself. And, by His grace, has been slowly softening my heart to be a young woman whose desire is for Him alone.

Job 39:19-25

¹⁹“Have you given the horse strength?
Have you clothed his neck with thunder?^[b]
²⁰Can you frighten him like a locust?
His majestic snorting strikes terror.
²¹He paws in the valley, and rejoices in his strength;
He gallops into the clash of arms.
²²He mocks at fear, and is not frightened;
Nor does he turn back from the sword.
²³The quiver rattles against him,
The glittering spear and javelin.
²⁴He devours the distance with fierceness and rage;
Nor does he come to a halt because the trumpet has sounded.
